A bubble tea café in Cleator Moor opened its doors last Monday and the first week of business has proven to be a success.
Déjà Brew plans to provide a green, modern and popular alternative with an oriental contort on the menu.
Looking at the Facebook reviews shows you just how well the café has gone down, with one customer Kennedy Mackie commenting “Myself and two others went to Déjà Brew for lunch and were not disappointed! The food was so fresh and tasty and the café itself was nice and cosy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, can't wait to return for another iced tea!”
Déjà Brew was founded by Thomas Cheung 24 of Egremont, Thomas opened his café on March 2nd following an exclusive launch celebration the Friday before with invited family and friends.
Thomas who also owns Y-tea of the Lake District embarked on this venture after spotting a gap in the market for a café which cared about being greener and kinder to the environment and also one with a different quirkier menu.
Thomas commented “I created Déjà Brew because I wanted to offer something different and unique. The café has been busy since day one and the support we have received has been phenomenal! I must also say a big thank you to my cousin Susan who has many years of experience in the bubble tea industry in Hong Kong and has kindly come over to help me. I am very grateful for all the support and I am looking forward to the future of Déjà Brew."
Déjà Brew values sourcing every one of their provisions locally, utilising other independent companies in the area, for example, Blessing's Bakery, Lakeland Mues, Bruce and Lukes and Thomas' brand Y-Tea of the Lake District.
