Bounce Legend Andy Whitby is coming to Whitehaven

Bounce legend Andy Whitby is to headline an insane night of ‘bounce’ at Whitehaven’s Club 135.

Friday 24th July will see the club packed, for an evening of awesome tunes.

Andy in a career spanning over 15 years has reached the forefront of Hardhouse, Hard-dance and Bounce through relentless work and effort, championing a unique sound and style that have made him a pioneer of fast and euphoric performances for dance-floors across the World.

From sell-out tours of the UK, America, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, Russia and Spain his appeal across multiple genres has made him not only the busiest and most-booked UK artist in those scenes for the past decade, but also the most listened to on Soundcloud and iTunes with over 10 million plays combined.

With over twenty released albums under his belt and sales totalling over 1,000,000 units, his mixes for Ministry of Sound’s Euphoria series have become a must-listen for those who love the tougher spectrum of dance music, while his own HARD brand consisting of events, tour nights and a record label, supports and mentors new talent coming through the industry whilst pushing and promoting fresh dance music. Whitby is also the winner of Best DJ, Best Resident and Best Album multiple times at Trackitdown.net’s Hard Dance Awards, has regular appearances on BBC Radio 1 and a monthly published page for the World’s best-selling dance publication Mixmag.

Danielle and Mark of Club 135 commented “We are super excited to have Andy play in our venue, he is at the top of his game and we cannot wait for him to blow the roof off!

They continued, ‘We are happy to be providing free events for the area, keep an eye out for all that is yet to come.”

On the 24th  July the event will run from 8pm until 3am, all though it is recommended to arrive early as it is likely to be very busy!
