A huge fire has broken out in a old Workington nightclub ‘Fusion.’
The fire has sparked a huge blue light response at the former Fusion club premises on Ladies Walk in Workington. Police were initially alerted to a blaze shortly before 11pm on Saturday (30 May) at the site on Ladies Walk.
Footage shared to us by members of the public reveal the sheer extent of the fire.
A Police spokesman said: “Nearby premises and homes on Ladies Walk and Coopers Walk have been evacuated whilst crews from Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service tackle the fire. There are no reported injuries at this time.
“Washington Street is currently closed in both directions to assist fire crews.
“A cordon is in place and members of the public are urged not to attend the scene.”
