Cumbrian Travel Agency Celebrate After Being Named One Of The Best In The British Isles

An independent Cumbrian travel agency are raising a glass after a prestigious award win.

Cumbria Travel have won a place in a power-list of the top agencies in the UK and Ireland by their industry’s leading outlet Travel Trade Gazette. Cumbria Travel was one of three agencies in the North West region to earn a spot in this highly respected list.

Cumbria Travel is owned by travelpreneurs Leanne Miller and Tricia Rickerby and they were both delighted: "We are overwhelmed and truly delighted to be named in The TTG Top 50 for the 5th consecutive year. To be runner up for the North West in what has been a challenging year for the Travel Industry has made us feel so proud and humbled. Our Team has worked tirelessly and non-stop this last 12 months and to be recognised by our peers during this time for what we have done is simply amazing"

"We are also extremely grateful for the support we have received from our customers, who have continued to make their future holiday plans with us. I think we are all dreaming of sand on our toes and sunshine on our backs when it is safe to do so, it is good to have something to look forward too and we are genuinely thankful for that continued support."

Over 400 travel agencies and branches put themselves forward for consideration for

TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies this year, from which a shortlist of 100 finalists across 20 categories was produced. Each regional finalist was interviewed by a journalist from TTG at the start of the year, to assess their customer service, expertise, business performance, and efforts to give back to the local community, with particular attention paid this year to their handling of the Covid-19 crisis.

TTG editor Sophie Griffiths said: “Now in its sixth year, our TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies

initiative sees us scour the UK and Ireland to find the hardest-working, most committed and most successful travel agency businesses in the land.

“Against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, travel agents have been tested to their limits over the past 12 months. But the nation’s best agencies have shone particularly brightly, working tirelessly – often for little or no reward – to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of their customers. From repatriating huge volumes of travellers from around the world at the start of the crisis to battling for refunds on their behalf for months on end, their worth really has been proven.

“Each agency that earned a place in our Top 50 list this year worked hard to impress our judges and should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”

thanks It for the offer to take a break and traveling, but now it is fraught with big losses. Personally, I prefer to use my time in a quarantine period for the benefit of my career with professional resume writer reviews. strengthen your financial position to be prepared for new crises
