EskFest organisers confident 2021 event will go ahead in July

One of Cumbria’s most idyllic music and arts festivals has announced they are confident the 2021 event will go ahead as planned and that plans are in motion to make the event a success.

EskFest organisers remain optimistic about this year’s event which is set to take place between 1st - 3rd July in the Eskdale Valley. Having reviewed and researched details of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, the event team at EskFest has said if the 21st June targets are met, the festival will undoubtably go ahead.

Evie Plumb, an organiser and arts curator of EskFest said: ““Hope has been in short supply of late, so we feel it’s important to plough on with positivity and offer people something to look forward to. Of course, it’s a huge investment of time and energy to plan an event of this kind, but the support so far for EskFest has been excellent. We would never go ahead if we thought the risks were too high, but so far, the improvements in the daily stats we are seeing are very encouraging.”

The events industry is one of the many industries which has felt the brunt of the pandemic and so the Prime Minister’s roadmap out of lockdown was welcome news.

Organisers of EskFest reiterate the message of ‘rallying around’ the arts and live event sector once we are able to, as Evie Plumb explains: “We hope people continue to give their support to the arts and events industries wherever they can in the coming months, as we hope to come out of hibernation and thrive once again. Festivals are more than just live music and beer tents, they are a celebration of life, of coming together, and they also represent countless jobs and livelihoods. We hope to see you at the festival this summer!

The festival which hosts four stages of live music and comedy over a three-day weekend has been going since 2016 and has only had one gap year which was 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I like to write and I like to read and buy books online. but there is topresume review where you can pump your resume so that potential employers will read it as a fascinating story, which is quite real and will have the coolest continuation after that
