Kendal Calling offers fans the chance to have a pub named after them

Launching this week, Kendal Calling are thrilled to reveal their ‘Kendale Trail’ across the North West, an interactive route through the region’s greatest boozers with a chance to give away the ultimate music and ale fan experience at the festival, including four-weekend tickets, a £200 bar tab and an onsite pub named after the lucky winner!

To celebrate fifteen years of Kendal Calling festival organisers have teamed up with Lancaster Brewery to launch the Kendale Trail! The interactive route winds its way around the North West’s best drinking spots, who will all now be serving the festival’s own delicious ‘Kendale’ IPA, with 10p of every pint sold donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind. Ranging from The Old Post Office Ale House in Castleton all the way up to Kendal staple The New Union, or across to the Royal Oak in Wigan, it’s a pub-lovers dream.

Not only a great way to spend a weekend, the Kendale Trail gives customers who buy six pints of Kendale the chance to win the ultimate music and ale fan experience at Kendal Calling, with a prize consisting of four weekend tickets, a £200 bar tab and a bar at the festival renamed after them!

All Kendale Trailers have to do is pick up a limited edition Kendale beer mat from one of the Kendale pubs, collect six Kendal stamps from selected pubs and send a photo of your fully stamped beer mat to Kendal Calling Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or via email at hello@kendalcalling.com by 30th June 2020.

There are six unique Kendale stamps available from certain pubs on the trail, named after six artists performing at the festival – Supergrass, Stereophonics, Foals, Primal Scream, Blossoms and Dizzee Rascal. Kendale Trailers can find out where to get their stamps using Kendal Calling’s very own pub finder, entering their postcode to see where their nearest Kendale pub is – kendalcalling.co.uk/kendaletrail

Each pub with a Kendale stamp will provide one stamp per pint of Kendale purchased. Kendale beer mats are available from all Kendale pubs, customers need to simply ask for one at the bar. More info can be found at kendalcalling.co.uk/kendaletrail

Pub boss at the No. 10 Ale House Adam Morland is thrilled to be a part of the Kendale Trail, having had his own life-changing Kendal Calling experience three years ago:

“The team at No. 10 Ale House is so excited to be part of Kendal Calling’s Kendale Trail, to celebrate 15 years of the festival! Kendal Calling has a special place in mine and my wife’s heart, as we got engaged there at our first festival together!”

Kendal Calling’s IPA ‘Kendale’ is available at over 25 pubs across the North West and at the festival, with 10p of every pint sold donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The well-hopped Kendale has a crisp, dry finish and was crafted by multi-award winning brewers Lancaster Brewery for Kendal’s award-winning real ale festival which takes place onsite at the festival every year, supported by CAMRA and hand-picked by our very own ale connoisseurs.
