WATCH: St Bees School Brings The World Together in Feel Good Video

With the greatest global impact in living memory, the COVID-19 pandemic has hugely affected our lives. Whilst we may all be riding the same storm – some are experiencing the storm in different ways.

And yet, despite social distancing, lockdowns, self-isolation… we are not alone.

Across the world, we all share the same fears. The same anxieties. The same heroism from medical staff, key workers, policemen, carers, shop workers… the hidden and unmasked heroes who keep our countries running. We share the same hope for the future. But also the same despair and uncertainties as we live on a day-to-day basis.

St Bees School wished to embody this spirit of togetherness.

In a video which saw participants take part all across the world – from the UK to China, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ireland, the USA and many more – the message is the same. Each and every one of us. Whoever we are. Wherever we are. Are all living the same COVID-19 storm. For some, it is easier than others. And although we are distanced by more than just 2 metres. We are all in this together.

The video is aimed to provide a message of solidarity and hopes to bring peace and comfort – and a bit of a smile – to those all over the world. We are all in this together.
